The Prisoner's Psalm

Broken glass windows refract silent  sighs flowing along with the chilling wind.  Upside-down lizards, staring downwards grinned.  Here he lays 'neath, counter-glare, sorrow skinned.     Days come and gone etched on the faces of  His four concrete companions surrounding.  Alien screams, sadistically delightful sounding  hit bleeding ears, like hammers on metal mould pounding.  
 
At Passers-by he stared with envious dislike;  Blissed-out jolly spirits floating about.  Counting, he sits by the window to scout  the jewels of the sky, scattered throughout.
